PCB to announce Pakistan T20 World Cup squad soon: report

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to announce the squad for the T20I series against Ireland and England, as well as the T20 World Cup, within a day or two as per media report. Sources indicate that an 18-member squad will be named for the upcoming matches.

The deadline for squad submission for the T20 World Cup is May 1, but the PCB can make changes to the squad until May 25. Any alterations beyond this date will require approval from the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Prior to the series against Ireland, the PCB is likely to hold a short camp for the national side. Pakistan is set to play three T20Is against Ireland and four against England in May as part of the team's preparations.

Under the leadership of captain Babar Azam, the Pakistan squad is scheduled to depart for Ireland on May 7. Following their matches against Ireland and England, the squad will travel to the United States ahead of the T20 World Cup.
