The fourth T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand is set to take place on Thursday in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
A ground staff source told a local news channel that a batting-friendly pitch has been prepared for the match and noted that the weather has recently turned warmer, causing the pitch to dry out, which is expected to benefit the batsmen and provide an entertaining match for the fans.
“Yes, it will be a good batting surface. We have worked extremely hard for the last few days and I think 180 plus score can be made on the surface,” a source in the ground staff said.
Furthermore, the weather in Lahore today is partly sunny and very warm with a high temperature of 37°C. For tonight, the forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with a low temperature of 24°C.
It is worth noting that the five-match series is tied at 1-1, and the winner of today's match will have an advantage in the quest for the series trophy.
