New Zealand secured a dominant victory over Uganda in the T20 World Cup match on Saturday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba.
This win moves New Zealand to third place on the points table with two points. Their final group match is scheduled against Papua New Guinea on Monday, June 17.
Despite the win, New Zealand and Uganda are out of contention for the Super 8 stage, as Afghanistan and West Indies have already secured their spots from Group C.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the super eights, which will feature 12 games before the top two from each super eight group will qualify for the semi-finals. The final will be played in Barbados on June 29.
