Former South African captain Shaun Pollock has shared his perspective on a pivotal moment involving Suryakumar Yadav's spectacular catch to dismiss David Miller.

Yadav's nerve and skill under immense pressure led to one of the most memorable catches in cricket history, but the incident sparked debate among fans regarding the placement of the boundary cushion.

The drama unfolded on the first ball of the 20th over, with South Africa needing a final push to clinch the victory. David Miller faced Hardik Pandya, who delivered a full toss that Miller launched towards the long-off boundary.

It looked destined for a six, but Suryakumar Yadav had other plans. Displaying exceptional athleticism, Yadav caught the ball mere centimeters from the boundary line, jumped outside the field of play, threw the ball up, re-entered the field, and completed the catch.

The third umpire reviewed the play and ruled Miller out, a decision that swung the momentum decisively in India's favor. India ultimately secured a seven-run victory, sparking jubilation among Indian fans and raising questions among South African supporters.

Addressing these concerns, Shaun Pollock provided his insights: "The catch was fine. The cushion had moved, but that's in the course of the game. It had nothing to do with Surya. He didn't stand on the cushion. Brilliant bit of skill."

It is worth noting that the Indian team had a successful T20 World Cup campaign, remaining unbeaten throughout and securing the title for the second time after 17 years.

This accomplishment makes India the third team, alongside England and West Indies, to win the T20 World Cup twice.
