Simon Doull, lauded Babar's performance, particularly highlighting his impressive strike rate
Peshawar Zalmi's Babar Azam showed his exceptional talent yet again in the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by smashing an unbeaten century against Islamabad United on Monday in Lahore.
Babar's remarkable innings of 111 runs off just 63 deliveries not only secured a crucial victory for his team but also earned him the Player of the Match award.
Renowned commentator and former international cricketer from New Zealand, Simon Doull, lauded Babar's performance, particularly highlighting his impressive strike rate.
Doull, who had previously criticized Azam for slowing down as he approached his century during the 2023 PSL, commended the Zalmi skipper's improved approach.
"Great to see your performance and I thought you were absolutely magnificent. Strike rate was too good my man," Doull said during the post-match presentation.
