The fourth T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand, scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi, is currently under threat of being affected by rain.

On Wednesday, both teams encountered two episodes of rain, which prevented them from conducting their scheduled training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Instead, they had to return to their hotel.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast for Thursday does not look promising either, as the Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will be partly cloudy with possible rain showers.

“Rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad [Pindi] and upper Punjab,” read a statement of the Met Office.

As per a representative from the Meteorological Office, there is a 50% probability of rain occurring during the designated time frame for today's match.

The ongoing five-game series has taken an interesting turn after New Zealand won the third match at the Gaddafi stadium, Lahore on Monday, reducing the hosts' advantage to 2-1.
