Raja wasn’t impressed with leg-spinner’s effort on day two
Former cricketer Ramiz Raja wasn’t impressed with leg-spinner Yasir Shah’s effort on day two of ongoing Test match between Pakistan and West Indies.
While speaking on his YouTube channel, Ramiz added that the leg-spinner needs to be more match fit, inorder to bring consistency in his performance.
“Pakistan didn’t click collectively as a unit because Yasir Shah was off colour. He has a wonderful record against West Indies. If you are inconsistent with your length, then captain won’t have confidence in you. At one point, he was going over four runs per over, then you will only be used in short bursts,” Raja said.

“Yasir needs more accuracy, so that he can win captain’s confidence. Yasir needs more control and bowl with more consistency. He can still win Pakistan the match with his basic leg spin, as pitch will deteriorate in the second innings,” he added.
Yasir failed to pick up a wicket in his 13 overs on day two and conceded 46 runs.
