Rizwan's compassion contrasts with Indian cricketer's hate speech

Friday's train crash in Odisha, India, has been ranked as India's third-worst and the deadliest since 1995

Rizwan's compassion contrasts with Indian cricketer's hate speech

At least 275 people were killed on Friday when a passenger train hit a stationary freight train, went off the tracks, and hit another passenger train passing in the opposite direction near the district of Balasore in the eastern state of Odisha, India.

Several people from different sectors of life took their socials and condoled the accident. Pakistan's wicket-keeper batter, Muhammad Rizwan, extended his support to the affectees of the disastrous incident. Rizwan, via his Twitter, offered his condolences to the victims and their families of the train accident.

Loss of human lives is always painful as we are all one ummah. My heart and prayers goes to the people affected by the train accident in India. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/8Rsq2TSEoD

However, contrary to the unity and compassion that Rizwan showed, Yash Dayal, an Indian cricketer, who featured recently for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023, posted a 'love jihad' story on his Instagram and potentially promoted a hate-mongering speech.

He is Yash Dayal, GT bowler.

He plays with bowlers like shami, Rashid and Noor Ahmad for GT.

In IPL 2023, when KKR needed 29 runs in last over, Rinku singh smashed him for 5 consecutive sixes.

Today He has posted this Instagram story on his account.

The post, however, was taken down by the cricketer but was in the air for ample time for others to be shared across social media. Yash's post came as a shocker amongst the cricket fraternity as they were surprised by the extremist views of the pacer.
