Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the schedule for their upcoming home limited-overs series against India, featuring three T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs).
This series marks the debut of Gautam Gambhir as India's new head coach, following the recent departure of Rahul Dravid. India's first series since winning the T20 World Cup is the ongoing five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. However, the series against Sri Lanka is expected to see the return of most players from the World Cup-winning squad.
According to the SLC itinerary, India will arrive in Sri Lanka on July 22, with the T20I series kicking off on July 26. The second and third T20Is are scheduled for July 27 and 29, respectively, all to be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. Following the T20I series, both teams will head to Colombo for the ODI series.
The first ODI is set for August 1, with subsequent matches on August 4 and 7. The ODI series will be held at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
