Shaheen Afridi has achieved a special milestone as he completed 200 T20 wickets on Monday during the fifth T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand at Pindi Cricket Stadium.

Shaheen has become the youngest and quickest (143 matches) fast-bowler to achieve the landmark. The record was previously held by South African pacer, Kagiso Rabada, who took 146 matches to achieve the milestone.

The 23-year-old completed 200 scalps, when he removed Tom Latham on his first delivery in the aforementioned match.

Rashid Khan is on top of the list when it comes to bowlers, who are quickest to claim 200 wickets. Pakistan’ Saeed Ajmal is second on the overall bowlers’ list, followed by Shaheen, Rabada and Umar Gul.
