England started aggressively as both the openers scored centuries while batting first against Pakistan in the first Test match at Rawalpindi cricket stadium today.

The Men in Green failed to claim any wickets before lunch as the England openers registered a massive two-hundred-run partnership inside 40 overs.

Zahid Mehmood claims his first international wicket after dismissing Ben Duckett for 107 runs from 110 deliveries, and Zak Crawley walks back to the pavilion after scoring 122 runs from 111 deliveries.

In a video shared by PCB, Pakistan star pacer Shaheen Afridi was seen alongside the Men in Green to cheer them up as they struggled to give a perfect start.

It must be noted that Shaheen Shah Afridi was not included in the Test squad due to an injury he suffered against England in the final of the T20 world cup in Australia.

Following the first game in Rawalpindi, the second Test will be played in Multan beginning on Friday, December 9, and the tour's final Test will be played in Karachi beginning on Saturday, December 17.
