Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has underscored the importance of solidarity within the team ahead of T20 World Cup 2024.
Speaking on PCB's podcast about the team's dynamics, Afridi emphasized that despite the occasional minor disagreements that occur in every family, the Pakistan cricket team remains united and focused on their shared goals.
"Sometimes, small disagreements happen in every family, even among brothers. But there's nothing like that in our team. Our players listen to each other, and we listen to them too. Our job is to play cricket and bring joy to our nation," Shaheen said.
Futhermore, he stressed that their primary aim is to play with unity and avoid any internal conflicts that could disrupt their performance.
"Our aim is to play with unity, and this is not the time for arguments or disputes; it's the time for everyone to be on the same page," he further added.
It is worth noting that Pakistan will play a four-match series against England starting from 22 May and will head to USA to kick of their T20 World Cup campaign by taking on USA on 6th June.
