Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to complete injured Shaheen Afridi's rehabilitation in Dubai.

According to sources, the 22-year-old will stay with the Asia Cup squad in Dubai instead of returning home from the Netherlands.

As per PCB officials, Dubai has better facilities, resources and infrastructure for quick treatment of knee injuries. In Shaheen's rehab program, team physios and trainers will also consult with orthopedic specialists

In this regard, the PCB Medical Panel has contacted two orthopedic surgeons from Dubai so that Shaheen Afridi's rehab plan can be arranged with their consultation.

PCB officials are confident that the pacer will be able to achieve 100 percent fitness before the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
