Shahid Afridi commented that Imad Wasim's team had done well to make a comeback
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has praised Karachi Kings for their impressive comeback in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.
Following the Kings' 67-run victory over Lahore Qalandars on Sunday, Afridi commented that Imad Wasim's team had done well to make a comeback.

"This was a great win for Karachi. Winning against Lahore, who are a good team, will definitely boost their confidence. They should build on this performance and stay competitive in the PSL," he said.
Karachi Kings had a slow start to the PSL 8 campaign, losing their first three games to Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators. Despite changing their leadership, with Babar Azam traded with Shoaib Malik from Zalmi, the Kings had won only one of their previous 14 games before Sunday.
While Afridi was impressed with the Kings' performance, he refused to hype up any of the young players, such as Saim Ayub, at this stage. "Let them play and prove themselves. After PSL, I will be able to talk about them," he concluded.
