The interim chief selector invited the Test and ODI squad players over at his house
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s interim chief selector Shahid Afridi threw a dinner party for national cricket players at his residence in Karachi on Sunday.
In a video shared by PCB on its digital platforms, the former cricketer is seen welcoming the current Test and One-Day International squads at his home.

Fast bowler Shaheen Shah, who is engaged to Afridi’s daughter, is also greeting the guests alongside his soon to-be father-in-law.

Earlier on Thursday, Afridi had announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand starting Jan 09.
The two teams will host a practice session on Sunday while captains from sides will participate in the trophy unveiling ceremony.
The white-ball series, which is part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, will take place at the National Bank Cricket Arena on Jan 09, 11 and 13.
