He went for a medical check-up on Wednesday morning after feeling pain in his back during practice session on Tuesday night.

On the other hand, a relative of his wife also passed away but he decided not to attend the last rituals and preferred to remain part of the league by returning to bio-bubble.

Afridi will again undergo a mandatory three-day isolation period before joining Gladiators. He will not play the Gladiators opening match against Peshawar Zalmi tomorrow.
