According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering making a leadership change at the conclusion of the ongoing series.

Shan Masood's struggles as Test captain have been mounting, beginning with a 0-3 series loss to Australia and further compounded by a historic 0-2 defeat at home to Bangladesh—Pakistan's first-ever Test series loss to Bangladesh. The latest setback against England leaves Pakistan trailing 0-1 in the current three-match series.

Insiders have indicated that Masood's replacement could be announced ahead of Pakistan's upcoming tour of South Africa. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha are reportedly leading the list of potential candidates to take over the Test captaincy.
