Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi has included three Pakistan legends while forming his ideal bowler.
In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on its official social media accounts, Afridi went for the pace and bounce of world’s fastest bowler Shoaib Akhtar.
“It will be beneficial for me, if I can bowl bouncers like Shoaib Akhtar,” said Shaheen. “Shoaib [Akhtar] bhai was the fastest bowler and I would like to add a bit more pace like him in my bowling.”
As far as inswing was concerned, the lanky fast-bowler selected legendary pacer Wasim Akram.
“Inswing would be like Wasim [Akram] bhai. He is our legend and I would like to improve my inswing like Wasim bhai,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s bowling coach Waqar Younis’ yorker and fellow pacer Sohail Khan’s outswing were also among his picks.
“Outswing like Sohail Khan and yorker like Waqar [Younis] bhai,” he said.
He also revealed that he is working on developing a good slower ball, inorder to deceive the batsmen.
“They are many good bowlers who can bowl good slower ones but I’m trying to develop such a delivery which is difficult for the batsmen to read,” he said.
The left-armer is currently touring New Zealand, with the Pakistan squad, where the Men in Green are set to play a three-match T20I series and two Test matches.
