Southern Punjab, which has been in a midst of a losing streak in the ongoing National T20 Cup, is expected to make three changes for the second leg of the tournament.

Three players from the second XI Dilbar Hussain, Mohammad Imran Randhawa and Zain Abbas are likely to be drafted to the first XI for the second phase of the tournament that will be played in Rawalpindi.

It should be noted that Southern Punjab, which has yet to win a match in the ongoing National T20 Cup, sent Mohammad Irfan, Rahat Ali and Bilawal Bhatti back home. The performers from the second XI are likely to take their places in the side.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam, who was resting after his stint with England’s T20 Blast tournament, is also expected to be back for the second phase of the tournament as the leader of Central Punjab. The team has currently won just one out of its five matches under the captaincy of Saad Naseem.
