Mohsin Naqvi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), convened a meeting with officials from the National Engineering Services of Pakistan (NESPAK) to discuss the ongoing upgradation of three major cricket venues in the country. Accompanying him were PCB's Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, Director Infrastructure Nasir Hameed, and NESPAK's General Manager.

During the meeting, preliminary designs for the immediate renovation of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, National Bank Stadium in Karachi, and Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi were presented to the Chairman through a comprehensive presentation.

Mohsin Naqvi outlined his vision for enhancing the spectator experience by ensuring optimal views from every seat in the stadium. He also stressed the significance of refurbishing the hospitality boxes across all three venues.

Given the urgency of the task, with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on the horizon, the Chairman urged NESPAK officials to promptly commence the renovation work on the stadiums. The emphasis was placed on adhering to a tight timeline to ensure that the upgrades are completed well in advance of the prestigious tournament.
