Discussions about the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match between Pakistan and India have already begun, even though the match is scheduled for June 9th in New York.

The CEO of T20 World Cup Brett Jones mentioned that constructing a temporary stadium posed many challenges. During construction, there were record levels of rain and cold temperatures.
Brett Jones mentioned that the idea for a temporary stadium was taken from Olympic Games golf courses and Formula One. This is the same infrastructure used in these events. The services of people who have been working with this type of infrastructure for 20 to 30 years were enlisted.
Continuing his statement, Brett Jones said that drop-in technology was used for the pitch, with the help of Adelaide expert curator Damian Hoff. The drop-in pitches were prepared in Florida's warm climate and will be transported to New York closer to the event. He mentioned that these pitches will be similar to those in Adelaide and Melbourne.
