The much-anticipated ICC 2024 T20 World Cup Trophy is set to make its way to Pakistan this April, aligning with the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and ICC are finalizing the dates of the Trophy Tour.

The trophy is currently touring the West Indies and will remain there until April 20. Officials are planning for its arrival in Pakistan shortly thereafter, making it a highlight for cricket fans during the bilateral series. 

Pakistan and New Zealand are slated to play five matches between April 18 and 27, taking place in the cities of Rawalpindi and Lahore. 

The exact date and venue for the trophy showcase in Pakistan will be announced next week, following final discussions and scheduling adjustments.

A total of three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean will be used for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 as the groups and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over showcase were confirmed on Friday, January 5.

Ten of the 20 teams will play their first match of the 29-day tournament in the USA, with 16 contests to be held in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, and the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on 9 June.

The tournament will commence on 2 June with co-hosts USA taking on neighbors Canada, while fellow hosts the West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day of group play.

  • June 9: Pakistan vs India, New York
  • June 11: Pakistan vs Canada, New York
  • June 16: Pakistan vs Ireland, Lauderhill

  • Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
  • Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea
  • Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal
