The Hundred: Ihsanullah ruled out, Imad Wasim to play for Trent Rockets

The 2023 edition of The Hundred is set to begin on Tuesday (August 1), with Trent Rockets taking on Southern Brave in both the men's and women's events.

Ihsanullah, who was initially signed by the Oval Invincibles, will unfortunately miss out on the tournament due to an injury. Meanwhile, Imad Wasim has been given the opportunity to showcase his skills as he joins the Trent Rockets lineup for the first three games, stepping in as a replacement for the injured Rashid Khan.

The Welsh Fire team will boast the talents of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, adding strength and depth to their bowling attack. On the other hand, the Manchester Originals squad will have the services of Usama Mir and Zaman Khan, who are sure to bring their unique abilities to the table.

Notably, the Birmingham Phoenix team will rely on the prowess of all-rounder Shadab Khan, who will undoubtedly be a key player to watch out for during the tournament.
