USA Cricket has officially unveiled its squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, marking a significant milestone with the inclusion of former New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson. Anderson, who was a key player in New Zealand's run to the finals in the 2015 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, brings a wealth of international experience to the team.

The squad will be led by the seasoned 31-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Monank Patel, who has been a consistent performer for the USA. The team also features several returning players from their successful T20I series against Canada, which the USA dominated with a clean sweep of 4-0.

A major relief for the squad is the return of fast bowler Ali Khan, who has recovered from a hamstring injury that sidelined him during the series against Canada. Khan is also notably featured in the official T20 World Cup anthem's music video, adding a pop-culture twist to his cricketing persona.

Veterans like Saurabh Netravalkar, the most capped player in the team, and Steven Taylor, the top run-scorer in USA's T20I history, are expected to play pivotal roles. The squad also welcomes newcomer Milind Kumar, an off-spinner whose impressive debut in the series against Canada has earned him a spot in the World Cup team.

USA squad: Monank Patel (captain), Aaron Jones (vice-Captain), Andries Gous, Corey Anderson, Ali Khan, Harmeet Singh, Jessy Singh, Milind Kumar, Nisarg Patel, Nitish Kumar, Noshtush Kenjige, Saurabh Nethralvakar, Shadley Van Schalkwyk, Steven Taylor, Shayan Jahangir.

Reserve Players: Gajanand Singh, Juanoy Drysdale, Yasir Mohammad.
