Pakistan’s pacer Wahab Riaz has been deported from England after he travelled to the country on the wrong visa.

According to details, Riaz didn’t have a work permit ahead of his participation in the inaugural season of The Hundred competition, where he is set to represent Trent Rockets.

However, the left-armer has applied for the work visa and will soon leave for England again.

The competition will take place this summer and feature eight city-based teams based in Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Southampton and two in London. The event is set to run from July 21 to August 21.
