Pakistan's middle-order batsman, Iftikhar Ahmed, expressed his displeasure towards a spectator who referred to him as "chachu" during the second T20I against New Zealand at Seddon Park, Hamilton, on Sunday.

While fielding in the first innings, the 33-year-old cricketer encountered an unwelcome interaction with a fan who declared, "We are your fans." In response, Iftikhar curtly advised the fan to "stay quiet."

Iftikhar failed to deliver with the bat managing only a score of 4 runs from 8 balls. Consequently, Pakistan was unable to successfully pursue the 195-run target set by New Zealand, as the Men in Green were bowled out for 173.
