Pakistan all-rounder played a handy cameo with the bat
Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim continued his rich vein of form in the Vitality T20 Blast as his all-round contribution helped Nottinghamshire beat Birmingham Bear by 71 runs on Friday.
Opener Joe Clarke and wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Moores set a perfect platform, after Nottinghamshire elected to bat first. Towards the end of the innings, Imad played an unbeaten cameo of 18 runs from 10 balls to take the total to 184-4.
His innings included three boundaries.
In response, Birmingham kept losing wickets at regular intervals with the 30-year-old all-rounder picking up two scalps in fours over, while conceding only 21 runs in his spell.
