The Pakistan cricket team has adopted unique training methods during their pre-season fitness camp in Karachi. Under the guidance of fielding specialist Masroor, players like Imam-ul-Haq participated in innovative drills.

The training sessions featured the use of mattresses, allowing the players to practice diving to their right to catch difficult balls safely.

This comes after Pakistan's disappointing campaign at the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA, where the team faced setbacks against tournament newcomers USA and traditional rivals India in Group A matches.

Looking ahead, Pakistan is gearing up to host Bangladesh for a two-match Test series scheduled between August and September.

Opening batter, Imam-ul-Haq is set to return to the squad, having previously featured in Pakistan's recent tour of Australia.

The upcoming Test series against Bangladesh is also part of the ongoing 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship cycle, providing Pakistan an opportunity to rebound from their T20 World Cup challenges.
