The India Women's cricket team dominated in the opening match of the T20 World Cup against Pakistan, securing a seven-wicket victory.

Despite Pakistan scoring 150 runs, the Indian team, led by Jemimah Rodrigues, rose to the challenge and brought home the win with six balls to spare.

The post-match atmosphere was filled with the camaraderie between the players from both teams, as they were seen taking selfies and cracking jokes together.

This display of friendship between the Indian and Pakistan women cricketers was a refreshing change, especially considering the intense rivalry between the two nations in the cricket world.

"We knew we had to bat sensibly and bat until the end," said Rodrigues, who credited her performance to the support of her father and childhood coach, Ivan.

Rodrigues believes that the young and talented Indian team has a lot of "fight and grit" and that they have been steadily building their confidence and unity since last year.
