South African bowler Carmi le Roux was badly injured during a Major League Cricket match in the US.

The accident happened when fellow South African, Ryan Rickelton, hit a shot while batting for the Seattle Orcas. The ball struck le Roux on the head, causing significant bleeding.

Le Roux was immediately taken off the field for medical treatment. Fortunately, he remained conscious, which helped prevent more serious injury.

Despite this, his participation in the rest of the tournament is uncertain. The franchise has not yet issued an official statement about his condition.

In le Roux’s absence, American all-rounder Corey Anderson stepped in to finish the remaining overs. The Major League, which started on July 5, is scheduled to conclude with its final match on July 28.
