The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is requesting an early meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to discuss the potential change of venue for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.
They have emphasized their stance of not moving the event to a neutral location. ACC President Jay Shah did not attend the opening ceremony of the ILT20, preventing Chairman of the PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi from meeting with him.

Some sources have suggested moving the event to the UAE, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is against this proposal.
India has expressed reluctance to send their team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup later in September. In reply, Pakistan stated that if India doesn't participate in the tournament, then we will not participate in the ICC World Cup 2023 scheduled in India.
Najam Sethi has recently met with ACC's Tosith Perera to discuss this issue and demand an early meeting.
PCB is steadfast in its belief that the event should take place in Pakistan and that boycotting the World Cup if India does not participate would be detrimental to future events such as the Champions Trophy.
