An unpleasant incident during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match has brought Karachi Kings President Wasim Akram, captain Imad Wasim and pacer Mohammad Amir in the limelight.
According to details, Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings by 22 runs during a PSL match played on Saturday.
After the match, Akram, along with Imad and Amir faced an unpleasant moment when the former Pakistan captain accused that someone from the Lahore Qalandars stand had called him ‘Aalo’ (Potato).
The remark infuriated the former captain which is why a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official interrupted and called the security officials to take away two key figures from the Qalandars stand.
The Qalanders later accused the trio of making inappropriate gestures in front of the stand of Lahore Qalandars, while also disregarding the presence of women in the stand.
After the incident, the accused person from the stand was nabbed through the help of CCTV footage.
The organizers of Lahore Qalandars later filed a formal complaint to PCB officials, blaming the president of Karachi Kings, its captain and pacer.
