Former Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja has shared details of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the discontinued Pakistan Junior League (PJL), which he claims could have generated profits for the board and helped develop young players.
The board of Management Committee decided to cease the PJL last week, citing heavy losses, but Raja has disputed this and shared WhatsApp screenshots of the MoU to back up his claims.

"Reproducing the signed MOU for PJL. It confirms the value sustainability and profit it could have yielded to the Board… and most importantly young players development," Raja wrote while sharing WhatsApp screenshots showing the details of PJL’s MOU.
Raja, who was sacked as chairman just days after the national team's 3-0 home series whitewash by England, also revealed that franchises for the next edition of the PJL were due to be locked in by 13 January.
The management team made swift decisions, including reviving the departmental cricket team, which was in line with their mandate and the PCB 2014 constitution.
