Former South Africa captain, AB de Villiers, has picked Pakistan pacer, Mohammad Asif, as the bowler to bowl for his life. 

De Villiers, who is widely regarded as one of the best batsmen of his generation, faced Asif on several occasions during his career and acknowledged the difficulties he faced while playing against him.

Former skipper, was joined by former India captain, Virat Kohli. As part of a rapid-fire round, the two players were asked to pick a bowler they would want to bowl for their life. After much deliberation, Virat ultimately picked Dale Steyn, while AB de Villiers quickly named Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif.

"Muhammad Asif...uff!! That guy with the new ball unplayable," he said in a recent interview.

Asif, who is known for his magical seam and swing bowling, represented Pakistan in 23 Tests and 38 ODIs; picking up 106 and 46 wickets respectively.

However, his career was marred by controversies related to his involvement in a spot-fixing scandal in 2010.
