Pakistan interim head coach, Abdul Rehman, has stated that senior players like Babar and Rizwan are big names of national team but our young emerging players are also best.
Renowned, domestic coach and chief consultant of Multan Sultans, who will now be performing the responsibilities as a head coach for the national team, showed his optimism in the young team and expressed his excitement as well as satisfaction with the selected squad.

"The senior players are big names, but our young players are also the best. We have good players in every department. Shadab Khan, Naseem Khan, and young players are all our trump cards. In the absence of our senior players, young cricketers will try to fill their place. Senior players joining the coaching staff is also very good for me. We will try to do well in this series," Rehman said in a recent press conference.
Concerned about the fact that the Afghanistan team is one of the strongest in T20 format, the head coach is quite positive and have faith in his young guns that they will give their best.
"All the young players have played together with me at one point or another; it won't take long to gel with them. I am positive that the result will be good. We will make a team combination after seeing the conditions of Sharjah; we will make a team in consultation with everyone," he said.
The series against Afghanistan comprises of three T20 matches that will take place on March 24, 26, and 27 in Sharjah.
