Top-order batsman in a tweet shared his three favourite cricketers from England and three from rest of the world
England opener Alex Hales has revealed that former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar was one of his favourite cricketers while growing up.
Hales is currently in self-isolation after he experienced symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) upon his return to England from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Social media is keeping the top-order batsman busy in isolation, as he recently in a tweet shared his three favourite cricketers from England and three from rest of the world.
Along with Akhtar, West Indian legend Brian Lara and former South African opener Herschelle Gibbs were also part of Hales’ list from rest of the world. Whereas from England, Hales looked up to ex-cricketers Dominic Cork, Kevin Pietersen and Graham Thorpe.
