Aizaz is excited about the opportunity to work with the talented players of Pakistan Shaheens in the upcoming Zimbabwe tour.

"I am really excited to work with this talented bunch of players. I have worked with them in domestic cricket and they all are great talents," he said.

"More importantly, Shaheens is a platform for youngsters especially to make it to the main team," he added.

The 43-year-old also praised the PCB for organizing the tour for Shaheens and providing backup players with an opportunity to play at the international level and groom themselves.

"The credit goes to PCB for organizing the tour for Shaheens. It is good that we have backup players available. They just need an opportunity to play at the international level. This tour will help them groom," he concluded.

Reminder for all is that Imran Butt will lead the team in the upcoming two four-day games and six One-Day matches, with Shahnawaz Dahani, Hussain Talat, and Mir Hamza also part of the squad.
