“Indians want to see Pakistan play cricket in India,” Shahid Afridi

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has stated that Indians want to see the Men in Green play cricket on their home soil.

Afridi expressed hope for improved relations between the neighbouring countries while speaking to the media in Sukkur.

“The relations between Pakistan and India have always improved due to cricket,” Afridi said.

“Indians want to see Pakistan play cricket in India,” he added.

It must be noted that the countries have not played bilateral cricket since Pakistan visited India for a white-ball series in 2012-13, and the teams have only met at ACC and ICC events.
