About 160 members of the six franchise teams that were part of the PSL have been vaccinated. This also includes members of a few families as well.

PCB offered to vaccinate about 400 people in the bio-bubble, including cricketers and support staff, but most refused after which the counter set up for this purpose in a local hotel in Karachi has been removed.

It must be noted that the second dose of this vaccine is given 14 days later but after the postponement of the event, many players decided against getting vaccinated.

Quetta Gladiators’ Tom Banton and Islamabad United’s Fawad Ahmed and Lewis Gregory were among the players who tested positive.

PCB will take the decision about when to hold remaining PSL matches after discussing possible new windows with the franchises.
