Pakistan’s legendary former all-rounder Shahid Afridi, in a Tweet on Monday, stated that the Men in Green could have won the match against West Indies with a better batting display.
The 44-year-old, however, praised the fighting spirit displayed by pacer Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah during the match.
“Stunning Test match! Brilliant fight by Pakistan led by Shaheen and Hasan Ali. Credit to West Indies for the victory. Pakistan could have won with a better batting display. This was Test cricket at its best. All the best to Babar and the boys for 2nd match,” Afridi tweeted.

West Indies won the first Test against Pakistan in thrilling fashion, winning by just one wicket.
The second Test between the sides will start on August 20.
