Pakistan players are expected to earn big despite their early exit from the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup. The Men in Green made an incredible comeback after a lacklustre start but could not qualify for the semi-finals due to an inferior net run-rate.

The team is expected to receive more than PKR 20 million after finishing at number five in the round-robin stage of the World Cup.

Each team receives PKR 2.8 million for winning a match and PKR 7 million for playing the first round of the mega event. An abandoned match can fetch the team PKR 1.4 million.

Five victories alongside a washout will help the Pakistan team earn a significant amount.

The side that wins the mega event receives PKR 280 million. This is the highest amount for any World Cup edition. The semi-finalists will earn PKR 55 million each. The runner-ups of the tournament will receive PKR 140 million.
