A high-level meeting of the coordination committee has been summoned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in Lahore on Wednesday in order to formalise the arrangements for the upcoming one-day international (ODI) and Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.

The Wasim Khan-led meeting will focus on the security arrangements for the touring side, along with briefings from other concerned departments. Different strategies are expected to be discussed in the meeting.

Integral decisions such as the start date for ticket sales and the price of tickets are also expected to be finalised in the meeting.

According to sources, the touring side is expected to receive presidential level security. The Sri Lanka team is expected to arrive in Karachi on September 25. The players from both teams will then practice at the National Stadium in the same city.

The captains of both teams will hold press conferences on September 26. The first ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on September 27 at the National Stadium. The second and third ODIs are scheduled for September 29 and October 2 respectively.

Both teams will depart for Lahore on October 3. A practice session is being organised on October 4. Gaddafi Stadium will be the venue for the first T20I on October 5. The second and third T20I will be played on October 7 and October 9 respectively.
