The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to administer the coronavirus vaccine on the players. According to sources, many different companies have been approached for the same.

After receiving the vaccines, the players will be free from the bio-bubble, which had become a necessity due to the pandemic. The players would not be bound by the limitations of the bubble after the process in completed and would be free to move wherever they please during a tournament or series.

Sources further stated that the PCB also plans on getting the vaccines for the officials and support staff in order to protect all individuals involved with the side.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has already publicly announced its plans of administrating the vaccines on various cricketers by the end of February.

The pandemic has caused various financial problems as well as severe restrictions for players during ongoing series and tournaments because of the all-encompassing bio-bubbles that are essential for the health of all individuals involved. The vaccine finally provides an avenue for cost-reduction and eventual normalisation of cricketing activities.
