The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken huge measures by removing high-ranking official from their positions. Director Media Sami-ul-Hasan is affected by these changes.

The decision to remove Sami from his role came swiftly, and he has been reassigned to the Special Projects department.

Sami-ul-Hasan, who had been leading the PCB's media department since 2019, was also impacted by the changes. Having previously served as the International Cricket Council's media director, he seemed to have fallen out of favor with the current leadership.

After the restoration of the PCB's 2014 constitution, Faisal's position was no longer included in the organizational structure, leaving him in an uncertain role.

Under the leadership of former interim Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi, Faisal continued to be actively involved in the board's affairs. However, with Najam Sethi replaced by Zaka Ashraf as the Interim Management Committee chairman, Faisal appears to have lost his influence within the board. As part of these developments, Raza Kitchlew, a senior official from the media department, has been appointed as the acting head of the unit.

These changes have been implemented with immediate effect, indicating a shift in the power dynamics within the PCB's leadership.
