Pacer is unlikely to play the eliminator against Lahore Qalandars
Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Wahab Riaz has said that pacer Hasan Ali is unlikely to play the first match of the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoffs.
While speaking to media in a press conference, Riaz stated that it was unfortunate to see Ali on the sidelines.
“Hasan Ali is a very important member of Peshawar Zalmi and it is unfortunate that he is not fully fit at the moment,” said Riaz. “I don’t think he will be available for the first match but hopefully he will be ready for the second match.”
Head coach-cum-player Darren Sammy will be unable to travel to Pakistan in time for the first eliminator on November 14 due to logistical constraints which is another blow for the 2017 PSL champions.
“Daren Sammy is the iconic member of Peshawar Zalmi and he had led us to the title in the past. We will miss his presence and the experience he used to share with us,” he said.

The second eliminator will take place on November 15 between the losers of the qualifier and winners of the first eliminator. The final will be held on November 17.
