The five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand, starting from April 18, is likely to be affected by rain.

Weather forecasts suggest significant downpours in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, potentially affecting the matches throughout the weekend, particularly the first three games slated for April 18, 20, and 21 in Rawalpindi. 

As of today, the rain probability on Thursday is 100%, on Saturday 58%, and on Sunday 40%, respectively.

The remaining two matches of the series are scheduled to be played in Lahore.

It must be noted that the New Zealand team has already arrived in Islamabad, gearing up for an exciting five-match T20I series against Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Pakistan cricket team's training session was postponed due to rain on Monday.
