The 19-year-old smacked 311 from 343 balls while playing for Northern against Balochistan
Veteran Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik is proud of his nephew Muhammad Huraira, who yesterday became the second-youngest Pakistani to score a triple-century in first-class cricket.
The 19-year-old smacked 311 from 343 balls while playing for Northern against Balochistan; his mammoth innings comprised 40 boundaries and four maximums.
Malik advised Huraira to improve more and keep working hard.
"I am very proud of you on becoming the second Pakistani young cricketer to score triple century, you have a long way to go," he tweeted.
"Keep working hard and keep going strong, all the best," he added.

Only Javed Miandad is ahead of Huraira, who was 17 years 310 days old when he scored 311 for Karachi Whites against National Bank of Pakistan in the Kardar Summer Shield final in Karachi.
Huraira's knock was the 23rd triple-century on Pakistan soil and it made him the 18th Pakistani player to achieve this feat.
In his maiden first-class season for Northern, he is already the second-leading run-getter with 878 in 16 innings at an average of 58.53. That includes three hundreds and three fifties. Huraira's side Northern will take on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the final of Quaid-e-Azam trophy starting from December 25.
