Pacer has only featured once during the tour of England so far

The national selection committee, headed by Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq, is unhappy with Pakistan team management over the treatment of pacer Mohammad Amir, during the ongoing tour of England ahead of the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.
According to Daily Express, the selection committee is concerned with the amount of playing time received by Amir, bearing in mind that he has only featured once during the tour so far.
Amir played one game during the tour matches, against Northamptonshire, while he was not picked to be part of the team during the one-off T20I match against England. He was part of the team for the first ODI against England, a match which was called off due to rain and where Amir did not get a chance to bowl, while he was ousted from the lineup for the second and third ODI due to chickenpox infection.
Before departing for the tour, it was certain that Amir will feature in all the matches, ahead of the World Cup, but the team management decided against it, upon arrival in England.
After seeing the battering received by Pakistan pacers, in the one-off T20I and the first three ODIs, the selection committee is increasingly pondering over the selection of Amir in the World Cup squad. Although the selection committee will take its final decision, after taking into account the form and fitness of the left-arm pacer.
Head Coach Mickey Arthur and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed are also of the opinion that Amir should be included in the squad for the mega event, keeping in mind the poor show of the pacer in the recent few matches.
Pakistan travelled to England with a 17-member squad, with two additional players in the shape of middle-order batsman Asif Ali and fast-bowler Amir. The decision about players who will be sent back home will be taken on May 21 or 22.
