Pakistan batsman Babar Azam has a wide repertoire of shots, but the fans were in for a surprise during the match between Central Punjab and Sindh in the ongoing National T20 Cup in Faisalabad on Sunday.
The Central Punjab captain in his unbeaten 102-run knock off 59 balls, embellished with seven fours and five sixes, played a particular shot that left everyone in awe.

The shot came in the sixth over of the Central Punjab innings, bowled by right-arm pacer Anwar Ali, when Babar played a lofted shot over the cover, on the backfoot, with the ball landing in the stands.

The 25-year-old is known for his cover-drive but no one expected the batsman to clear the boundary with such ease.

However, Babar’s brilliant century ended in vain as Sindh secured a thrilling win over Central Punjab by chasing down a 189-run target on the penultimate ball.
