Many directors, including COO Salman Naseer's position, is in danger; however, CEO Faisal Hasnain is likely to stay in another capacity.
The interesting thing is that if the constitution of 2014 is restored, the post of Chief Executive is not present in it.
In this way, Faisal can be made COO, and the positions of many other top officials, including Director Media Sami Al Hasan Burney, Director High-Performance Nadeem Khan, and Director International Cricket Zakir Khan, have also started shaking. Many recommendations have also come out for Nadeem.
Sources said that several days ago, some board officials contacted Najam Sethi and started trying to save their positions. Chief selector Muhammad Wasim also does not think it is possible to continue in the post.
On the other hand, Ramiz Raja is looking for the option of a legal battle over his possible removal. The immediate effort would be to seek a stay order, although the potential new setup seems ready in this regard too.
